Just A Note
The second post I have for you today is called "Just A Note" I have again forgotten where I found this {LOL} but I know you'll love so I will post the directions with it. If you reconize where I may have gotten it from PLEASE let me know. I always like to give credit to the people that have done all the work.
Now for the directions. Although at first glance it may seem hard, trust me it's EASY PEASY!
So having said that here we go....
Now for the directions. Although at first glance it may seem hard, trust me it's EASY PEASY!
So having said that here we go....
Here are some basic materials that you will need to get started:
Post-It Note pad
Sticky tape/ or red line tape
small pen to fit in your pen holder
scoring tool or cutter with scoring available
a piece of 8 1/2" long by 3 1/2" wide your choice of card stock
any other stamps, embellishments, inks, etc that you want to dress up your holder with
here
Step 1: Take your 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of card stock and score it at 3 1/2", 4" and 4 1/2" on the longer side of the card stock piece. Then you will turn your piece to the short side and cut two marks starting at one score mark and ending at the last score mark. Make these cuts at 1 1/4" and 2 1/4" on the short side.
Step 2: Once you have made your score marks and cuts, you will need to make your folds . You will need to make sure that the portion you've cut, goes outward and the other score marks get folded inward.
Step 3: After your folds, you can take your double sided red line tape and attach it to the two inside folds DO NOT take the backing off the tape yet as you will want to keep everything flat while you're decorating the outside/front of your holder...so go ahead and decorate and add your embellishments that you want on the front of your holder....
Step 4: Now you are ready to attach your Post-It Note pad to the inside of your holder. This is also the time you can take the backing off your red line tape and attach the two inner folds down to the inside to form the "book style".
And now you are done!! Just close the front and add the pen to your pen holder on the front!
Good Luck!!!
If you do decide to make this link it up below and show us your creation! We would love to see it!
