My Christmas Tree

I thought I would post a few pics of my Christmas Tree this year!!  The lights are all RED.  Since RED is my Favorite color, and the ornaments are all those tiny ones!  I couldn't help myself I have been collecting them over the years.  I think they are absolutely adorable on a tree.  Here's the pics that I took.

Make and Take: Crafting With Jack on Crafters Digital Art Center

Here is my first project for the "Make and Take Challenge" over on "Crafters Digital Art Center"  With "Crafting With Jack".  I chose to make a card.  I cut a colored the "ANGEL" out 4 times for dimension.  Then I used my "INSPIRED HEARTS" Cricut Cartridge for the "STAR"  and cut it out 4 times as well for dimension.  The background paper is form "The Paper Studios"  Snowflakes Pack that I picked as in individual page at Hobby Lobby one day, looking at their site however, I see that they no longer sale the page.  Here is the card that I chose to create.  I hope you like it!!

Family Reunion

When CHRISTMAS comes around I always think of Family Reunion's!  Which brings me to my next card and 2 challenges that I decided to enter this card into.  I am married with 3 kids.  Therefore, this card fit my family perfectly.  The first challenge is "Designed 2 Delight"  SHOW US YOUR FAVORITE SNOWMAN!  Well my favorite Snowman is this family.  The second challenge is "Stamptacular Sunday Challenge"  their challenge is ANYTHING CHRISTMAS and if SNOWMEN don't say Christmas well i'm at a loss. {LOL} I have also entered this card in "The Outlawz Greetings Challenge November 28th"  their theme is "Anything Goes" as long as it has a sentiment on the front.

I used Stickles for the bodies of the Snowman, Snow-woman, and Snow-children Stardust
For the Other parts I used Stickles colors Purple and Green
The sentiment I used is taken from TLC I just didn't use the border.

Here's my second entry into "The Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge November 20-December 3"  I decided to  make an 8 x 8 scrapbook page using the Little Girl holding the Stocking sent to us by Sandi from "Sandi's Sample's"  I thought it would be cute to make a scrapbook of our Christmas this year.  This is going to be the first page.  I am going to use my YOURSTORY Bookbinder to complete the scrapbook once I have all the pages together and will then post the completed scrapbook here for all to see.  Until then, I will post each page as I do it.

Just a Couple Of Cards

I will be making several post today.  Two of them will be for "The Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge".  However, this post is for a couple of cards that I just made.  This first one is a card for my Father-in-law whoa has a birthday coming up on December 11th

I saw the stickers a while back on sale and thought they would be absolutely perfect to use on a card for him!  The stickers are from "Paper Studio" I bought them at Walmart.
I hope when he gets the card he likes it!  Here goes nothing {LOL}

Now my 2nd card for this post is a set of stickers bought from Walmart on sale yet again {LOL I do so LOVE sales}  and these are from " Making Memories"  I bought them and made the card simple because I liked the stickers.  No other reason, I had no one in mind to send the card to.  

So, Here's the card it's decorated on the outside and the inside with the top of the inside left blank to write on.

New Toy's

I want to share with some of the new TOY'S I got!!  I got a XYRON 900 Sticker, Laminator and Magnate Maker, A YOURSTORY PHOTO BOOK Maker,  A YOURSTORY BOOK BINDER, I also got an EK SUCCESS HEART CHAIN PUNCH.  I have yet to use any of them as I just got them and havent had the time to play around with them.  However I did take some pictures so I could share!!  Here they are!!

I will be using one of these to make a gift for someone not sure who or what yet.  But we'll see!!!!

Steam Punk Butterfly Christmas Card

I wanted to share with you a card I made using some Butterfly Steampunk images by Jolee's Boutique.  An image can be found by clicking HERE.  I love Butterflies and Jolee's Stickers so to be able to combine the 2 into a Christmas card was so much fun!!!  Now, onto the card!!

Hope everyone enjoys haveing the kids home this week for THANKSGIVING!! I know that I am enjoying having my son home from school and my 17 yr old living back home again. 

Also, today is a sad day for my family..my DAD passed away 31 years ago today.  He is still to this day LOVED DEARLY and MISSED by all who knew and loved him.  May He REST IN PEACE!  I will see you again one day DEAREST DAD!!! LOVE and MISS YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!!

cdacpc7 Sew Many Cards

My second post for Crafters Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge # 7    is brought to us by Sew Many Cards and the "Happy Birthday" sentiment is provided by Sending Treasures. For this project I chose to do an 8 x 10 wall hanging for my daughter Rebecca's 18th birthday which is coming up on December 7th.
For the coloring I used copic sketch marker colors E08, E15, G17, E18, RV13, B05, E09, E11, Y13, B04, RV11, E13, and Y19 typed in no special order.  I also used some bee stickers that I picked up at my local Dollar Store.
For her birthday I will frame this.  Not sure what else i'll get her but this is a good start lol.  Now on to a picture of the project!!!

Here's my first post for the Crafters Digital Art Center Progressive Freebie Challenge #7.  i have a cousin that's a  real "CRAB" when it comes time for her BIRTHDAY each year.  Therefore I decided to make her a 5 x 7 frame image of the "Crab" by TIFFANY DOODLES  the "Happy Birthday" sentiment is provided by Sending Treasures and put it in a frame for her to hang on her wall for her to hang on the wall!!  It's only fitting!!
To color the crab I used my Copic Sketch Markers R43 and R46 The Swirls are cut from my Cricut "Storybook" Cartridge at 1 inch.  So now onto my project!!!

The Outlawz Freebie Challenge

I made this card using Sandi's "Stocking"  i used a Green paper with "Presents" as the background.  Not sure who made the paper as I got it from a scrap heap. LOL  I used Star Dust Stickles for the top of the stocking to create a Glitter Effect.  I outlined everything with Glitter Gel Pens and Colored everything in with Color Pencils.

Crafters Digital Art Center Progressive Freebie Challenge #6 Project 6

 For my Crafters Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge # 6 Project 6.  The "Bridal Image" By Margaret Kieser.  I decided to do a rocker Card that I saw on Little Claire's Blog 

 Here's the dimension that I used for mine:

I cut the Pink circle at 8 1/2 and the Blue circle at 6 inches using my "Accent Essentials" Cricut Cartridge

I cut the White Background at 4 inches also using the "Accent Essentials" Cricut Cartridge

The Green Flourishes are cut at 1 inch using the "Storybook" Cricut Cartridge.

Welcome to my fourth post for the Crafter's Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge #6.    What I have for you in this post is a card with an Elephant that has been  Christmas Shopping and is brought to you by Inked Treasure.

To make this card I used Gel Pens to outline and color in the entire image in order to get that glitter feel, for the sentiment  however, I used my own.  For the frame, I chose one again, {LOL} from the Fancy Frames Cricut Cartridge and used Cardstock from Stampin' Up in Dark Green.  I hope that you guys like it.

Diaper Cake, Corner Bookmark and Hanging Ornaments

 I just wanted to share the diaper cake I made for my daughters baby shower with everyone.  I think it came out pretty good.  here goes! LOL

Crafters Digital Art Center Progressive Freebie Challenge #6 Project 1

 Welcome to my first post for the Crafter's Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge #6.    What I have for you in this post is a card with a Polar Bear that is brought to you by Designed 2 Delight. 

To make this card I used a frame from the cartridge Fancy Frames, Gel Pens to color the scarf and Polar bear, the sentiment however, I came up with on my own.  For the snow I use Star Dust Stickles.  I curles the edges of the frame with a pencil.  I hope that you guys like it.  The gold cardstock is from Stampin' Up.

I had so much fun making this card! It was the first time that I got to use my "Fancy Frames" Cartridge.
